Delete Your Recipe 2 Scale Account

Recipe 2 Scale users can permanently delete their account and associated data.

Delete your account in Recipe 2 Scale

1. Sign in to Recipe 2 Scale.
2. Open Settings.
3. In the Account section, select "Delete Account."
4. Type DELETE when prompted.
5. Confirm deletion.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once confirmed, your account is deleted immediately.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your Recipe 2 Scale login (email and password)
• Your profile and plan information
• Your saved recipes and their ingredients
• Your saved/scaled recipe versions and their ingredients
• Any custom ingredients and ingredient costs you added
• Any photos you uploaded to your recipes
• Account-specific data stored locally in your browser or device, such as gram-weight adjustments and remembered production checklist items

Data retention

When you delete your account, the data listed above is permanently deleted from Recipe 2 Scale's database and storage right away, as part of the same action. There is no separate waiting period before it's removed.

We don't keep a copy of your account or content after deletion. Recipe 2 Scale is hosted using Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage) and Vercel (application hosting); like most hosting providers, they may briefly retain routine backups or system logs as part of their own standard operations. We don't control or set a specific retention period for that infrastructure-level backup/log data, and we don't use it to restore or reconstruct a deleted account.

Can't access your account?

If you cannot access your Recipe 2 Scale account, email support@recipe2scale.com to request account deletion. We may need to verify that you own the account before processing the request.
